User Experience Design

User Experience Design, or UXD (or just UX) has been the buzz phrase on the web for the past couple of years. It is the concept of designing and building intuitive, engaging and enjoyable interfaces for the user. That sounds a bit jargon-tastic, but in its simplest form it boils down to the title of one of our favourite books; “Don’t make me think”. Have you ever been on a site and thought “that shouldn’t be there” or “how do I get back to the home page?”

We have, and it most likely happened because there wasn’t enough time dedicated to planning and forming the User Experience. Our resident UXD expert loves sketching out and diagramming every journey and scenario, and this led to a well-planned and easy-to-use Patient Referral System used by top London dentist’s The Implant Surgery.
